Barefoot Jammy Red Wine Review (Episode 251)

Описание: In this episode, we taste another Jammy Red Wine recommended by two viewers; Blue Fraser and Kadir Guler.

As recommended by Blue Fraser and Kadir we, first of all, try it chilled and then at room temperature to see at which temperature we prefer to drink it.

On the nose, the raspberry fruit is very prominent.

The taste of raspberry does not come through so much on the taste however cherry and strawberry do come through giving that jammy sensation.

The tannins are very low making it soft and delicious.

This wine chills very well!

A great summer drink!

Also a great wine for someone trying to convert themselves from White wine to red.

At £5.50 this is a fantastic value wine.

We then try the wine at room temperature resulting in the nose losing the raspberry scent, but being replaced by the strawberry with only a hint of raspberry - we both preferred the chilled aroma.

Taste wise the wine became much more syrupy and for our personal taste buds not as pleasant as the chilled version. If however, you like sweet wine you are probably going to love this wine at room temperature.
