Hello, I’m Karen Case, founder of The 3-20 Way — and I’m really glad you’re here. In this short session we focus on strengthening the muscles at the front of the thigh using a simple seated movement.
The exercise involves lifting the leg, extending it forward, bending the knee and lowering the foot back to the floor. This controlled movement helps strengthen the quadriceps — the muscles that play an important role in standing, walking and climbing stairs.
Strong thigh muscles are essential for everyday independence and confident movement as we age.
This session lasts just three minutes and includes three short rounds with a brief pause between each round, allowing you to work at a comfortable pace while building strength safely. The movement is clear, controlled and designed to be achievable whether you are returning to exercise after a break or simply want to maintain strength and mobility.
Even a few minutes of focused strength work can make a meaningful difference when done regularly.
