According to reports, Talo Potom and another government officer allegedly lured a 19-year-old boy, Gomchu Yekar, with a fake job promise, and later sexually exploited him. The case took a tragic turn when the victim died by suicide, leaving behind a detailed note exposing everything. In his note, the teenager claimed that he had been infected with HIV due to the repeated assaults. He also wrote that the officers had promised him ₹1 crore as compensation but later refused to pay and even threatened to ruin his life if he spoke up. Shockingly, the second accused officer in the case also died by suicide soon after.

अरुणाचल प्रदेश के AGMUT काडर के IAS अधिकारी तिलो पोटोम, जो दिल्ली सरकार के PWD विभाग में विशेष सचिव के पद पर तैनात थे, को 28 अक्टूबर को अरुणाचल प्रदेश पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया।आरोप है कि IAS तिलो पोटोम और एक अन्य सरकारी अधिकारी ने 19 साल के युवक गॉमचू येकर को नौकरी का झांसा देकर उसका यौन शोषण किया। मामला तब सामने आया जब गॉमचू ने आत्महत्या कर ली और अपने सुसाइड नोट में पूरी आपबीती लिखी।नोट में युवक ने दावा किया कि यौन शोषण की वजह से वह HIV से संक्रमित हो गया था। अधिकारियों ने उसे 1 करोड़ रुपये देने का वादा किया, लेकिन बाद में पैसे देने से इंकार कर दिया और जब उसने विरोध किया, तो उसे ज़िंदगी बर्बाद करने की धमकी दी। इस बीच, दूसरे आरोपी अधिकारी ने भी आत्महत्या कर ली, जिससे मामला और सनसनीखेज हो गया।
