Описание: 🌎 May 1328. The Roman Empire has just emerged from seven years of civil war, and the disastrous 46-year reign of Andronikos II is at an end. The new emperor Andronikos III and his chief adviser John Kantakouzenos are men of the new generation, with new ideas — but can these new ideas save an empire that has now been reduced to just Thrace, Macedonia, and a few scattered outposts?

This video examines the reign of Andronikos III on a map in month-by-month detail from 1328 to 1341. Witness the final fall of Asia Minor, the reconquest of Thessaly and Epirus, wars with Serbia and Bulgaria, as well as the emperor's economic, diplomatic, and religious policy!
