Описание: This video provides an overview of downhole logging operations and core physical properties measurements coordinated by the European Petrophysics Consortium (EPC: www.le.ac.uk/epc) during IODP Expedition 302, ACEX Arctic Coring Expedition, in 2004. ACEX was a mission specific platform (MSP) expedition undertaken by the European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling (ECORD) Science Operator (ESO) using the icebreaker Viking Vidar as a specially adapted drillship. The primary scientific goals of ACEX were to determine the paleoenvironmental evolution in the central Arctic Ocean since Paleocene times and to decipher its role in global climate evolution. ACEX was the first scientific drilling expedition to obtain downhole logging data from the central Arctic Ocean. This video presents brief highlights of the results.
