A short film showcasing one of the guided hiking trails in the Kruger National Park, the Olifants River Trail.
The trail stretches over 4 days and 3 nights and covers approximately 42km. We camped next to the Olifants River every night, taking a swim close to the hippos, and enjoying a small fire to end the day.
We encountered hippos, crocodiles, elephants, various antelope, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and even saw the Pel's Fishing Owl! We heard lions very close to our camp the one morning and tracked them for an hour or so, but unfortunately couldn't spot them.
The guides were extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much from them!
