Описание: AKTINA TV report on CYPRECO's March 7, 2014 successful folk arts program in Astoria, NY which revived the centuries old craft of lace making in the village of Lefkara with the screening of a documentary, an exhibit of Lefkara embroideries and a live demonstration of the craft. During the event, CYPRECO's President, Elena Maroulleti was all presented with an honorary plaque by John Papas, President of the Enosis Lefkaraton in America in recognition of her "dedication and service to promoting Lefkara and Cypriot culture". Report includes interviews and reactions from the audience. The Lefkara lace are part of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Element Collection. AKTINA TV airs on WNYE Channel 25 in New York.
