OS 40V — it’s a screamer!!

I got an estate sale of dozens of these engines last weekend, and among them were four “OS 40V” engines, three of them “Formula 1” engines with no throttle control, and one with a full carburetor and is “throttleable”. There’s an internet archive called Sceptre Flight, and from there I read the engines were made around 1981.
The Formula 1 engines all brought an APC 9x6 up to around 18-19,000rpm, and the throttleable one to aroumd 16,000. If I were to use an actual Q40 prop, I could get it to around 21,000. The manufacturer says it can go to around 25,000. Some quick math says this puts out around 2.2 horsepower.
I was using Omega 5% with some added synthetic oil. I used the pipe supplied with one of the engines and it seemed to work well. I’m very happy with these, they’re by far the best running engines I’ve tested in the lot so far.
