Описание: Hello everyone, I'm back! I'm very excited to introduce the next series for the World of Aszulis: A Joseon Korea Inspired Kingdom! We will begin today with the construction of the Seowon, an academy of faith and knowledge that is nestled in harmony within the natural landscape of a brand new Kingdom: The Sunflower State of Unjeo. This build was heavily inspired by the Byeongsan Seowon in South Korea.

Background:

The Seowon is a testament to the innovative architecture and harmonic lifestyle of the people of Unjeo. Nestled on a rise surrounded by water and hills, its pathways and open spaces provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, structures within the university complex are constructed entirely from nearby timber, red clay, and cobblestone. Passageways for air heated by a furnace traverse underneath various structures, providing an even distribution of heat in the houses during the winter. During summer, windows and doorways constructed from paper can be open or closed to provide a flow of air and cool the houses down, while also opening up spectacular views of the landscape.
