📋 Clinical Context: The "Golfer's Fracture" The hook of the hamate protects the ulnar nerve and artery (Guyon's Canal). Fractures here often occur from the handle of a bat, club, or racket striking the hypothenar eminence.

Mechanism: The test uses the flexor tendons of the 4th and 5th digits to pull against the hamate hook.

Positive Sign: Reproduction of pain at the base of the hypothenar eminence (palm side).

Differential Diagnosis: Ulnar nerve compression (Guyon's Canal Syndrome).
