Описание: An often misunderstood martial art, Tai Chi has gained popularity in Western Society in recent years, due to the benefits it provides for health and wellbeing, particularly in older generations. It greatly improves balance, coordination, flexibility, blood flow and circulation, and can be thought of as a moving meditation practice. It is however also an effective martial art for self defence, and teaches a practitioner to redirect incoming force, manipulating an opponents centre of gravity, using their strength against them, and making it easier to take them to the ground. If it an effective short and medium range fighting style, and encompasses all aspects of martial arts, including striking, wrestling, joint locks and throws, as well as developing internal power.
