This song was always planned to play like a cheese 80's rock ballad music video. I worked on many iterations of this song as the director and producers figured out the best visuals for it. I was briefed to come up with a visual metaphor for Bobby's conflict. He wants peace but as a land crab he is always seen as a meathead.
I came up with the idea of sand-gladiators ready to do battle surrounding Baby till he snaps his plastic fork weapon and breaks the spell. This new resolve might have had a chance till fate dragged him back into the fray against Mako, the arrogant sea crab.
