To study the deviation of light, critical angle for a given pair of media, and total internal reflection (TIR) , I have used a SEMICIRCULAR GLASS and a laser light. The semicircular shape ensures that a laser beam pointed at its center passes through the curved boundary without refraction, allowing all refraction to be observed at the straight boundary (glass-air interface).
