Laura J. Wellington is a successful technology entrepreneur, award-winning children’s entertainment creator, author and mom to five children. She founded THREADMB.com, where she combines interviews from celebrities and high profile mom influencers, benefiting the social causes each supports. Her most recent book, “What To Do When Jane Knows DICK About Dating” (Post Hill Press) released February 13, 2018 to wide applause. She has a children’s picture book series, “Jasper’s Giant Imagination” (4RV Publishing LLC) due to release in April 2019. She is both author and illustrator on this series.
Widowed at age thirty-five, Laura is the single mom to five children. She remains a powerful advocate for children living in foster care in the United States and is a licensed foster parent.
