Today I made a vegetable Biryani name Brinji, which my mother used to like very much in her child hood. Almost 50 years back there was no concept of biryani and pulao. When Persians in Tamilnadu started cooking Rice along with Bay leaf along with vegetables, they name it as Brinji or Biranji . is it a Pulao? or is it a Biryani? whatever it is, Its awesome. Delicious, fantabulous. So try this recipe definitely and I am sure you will like it a lot.
In this video we will see how to make brinji rice recipe in Hindi. Brinji sadam is one my favorite variety rice recipes. Cooking the rice in coconut milk adds so much flavor to the recipe. Adding fried bread pieces adds a lot of color and texture to the recipe. Since we have added a lot if vegetables and bread into the recipe, it doesn't require a side dish. It can be served with raita or with a vegetable kurma.
