On the eve of upcoming Bakrid, I am happy to share Zafrani Pulao recipe with you all. Its really a rich delicacy. In Urdu language, Saffron is called as Zafran. The rice made with saffron, dry fruits is named as Zafrani Pulao by Hyderabadi Nawabs in olden days. Its a rice recipe made specially for festivals, special occassions , weddings and gatherings. I love it on weekends too. I usually order this menu in my famous restaurant, 91 RoseWood Villa. I just enjoy it every bite. Thought of sharing with you on this Bakrid.

1/2 inch Cinnamon
1 Cardamom
2 Cloves
1 Bay leaf
1/2 cup Milk
1-1/2 Water
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt, to taste
15 Cashew
15 Almond
2 tablespoon Raisins
