I recently completed the process of getting a police record done here in Jamaica. It is basically a background check that is completed by the JCF. I documented the process on how I did it, where I had to go, how much it cost and even some of the mistakes I made.
***Update: I went to the Area 2 Station and inquired about the speed of the process and where in the process that speed applied... I was informed that the 21 / 5 / or next day service (Temp suspended) applies to getting the Certificate itself. So if you paid for a 5 day service your Certificate/Record should be ready in 5 working days.
