Feeling stressed? Got tight hips? or just need a stretchy flow with mindful pranayama and mediation? Then this is the class for you.
My intermediate yoga for stress relief and muscle tension sequence is perfect for days when you need a breather from the more intense intermediate yoga classes. There will be moments where we will engage our muscles but the majority of this class is gentle and stretchy, with plenty of focus on hip openers to help release muscular and mental tension. We'll be ending this vinyasa flow with a wonderful calming pranayama called "Humming bee breath" (Bhramari pranayama) which will help with feelings of stress or anxiety, before ending with a 2-minute mindful meditation to bring our mind back to the present moment and let go of what was stressing us out in the first place.
