Donald Trump Claims U.S. Launched Most Powerful Strike On Iran’s Kharg Island In West Asia War

Описание: U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that American forces carried out a powerful bombing raid on Iran’s strategic Kharg Island, describing it as one of the most intense military operations in the history of the Middle East.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the United States Central Command executed the strike at his direction and destroyed every military target on the island. The attack came shortly after US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth warned that American forces would carry out the “most intense strikes” against Iran.

Kharg Island is one of Iran’s most critical economic assets and serves as the country’s primary oil export hub in the Gulf. Nearly all Iranian crude exports pass through the island’s facilities, which include large oil storage tanks and loading infrastructure.

Trump said the United States intentionally avoided striking the island’s oil infrastructure. However, he warned that Washington could reconsider that decision if Iran attempts to disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The strategic waterway carries roughly one fifth of the world’s oil shipments each day. Analysts say any direct attack on Kharg Island’s export facilities could severely damage Iran’s finances and give Washington significant leverage in negotiations with Tehran.
