2025 Review: TG 665 PVG-BKK Business Class Shanghai-Bangkok by Thai Airways

After passing immigration, you enter the duty-free area. Oh, I highly recommend visiting the cosmetic section here. On this trip, I picked up Estee Lauder. The price was incredibly low, much cheaper than in Thailand or regular shops. I got two 100ml bottles for about 1,300 yuan, which is roughly 6,000 plus Thai bot. That's really cheap. cheap. If you're in the duty-free area at Shanghai Puong Airport, don't forget to check out Estee Lauder. The price is truly great.

As for the lounge at Puong Airport, Thai Airways shares it with China Eastern Airline. It's located around gate 77 on the second floor. This is the China Eastern Airline Lounge. Now, let's talk about the inflight experience. Starting with the amenity kit, Thai Airways provides a generous amenity kit in a fabric bag from Jim Thompson. What's inside? There's a toothbrush, socks, a roll on aroma, lip balm, hand cream, a special soft eye mask, and also toothpaste. This is in line with good airline standards, and the design is nice. The bag feels durable.

Next, something I really want to recommend and that everyone must try is the signature drink, Thai Airways Signature Cock. tale is called RRV or Rose of the Royal Voyage. It's a signature drink that blends the sweet aroma of rose syrup with champagne and adds a touch of sourness with thin slices of lime. The taste is smooth and refreshing, making it enjoyable throughout the flight. I think I had more than four glasses of this. The taste is excellent, perfect for sipping lightly during the journey.

Moving on to the food highlights, the main course highlight is the beef steak with demiglass mushroom sauce. The Beef was soft and melted in your mouth. The sauce had a rich flavor accompanied by smooth, fragrant mashed potatoes.

For the appetizer, there was smoked trout rolls and marinated scallops with salmon row. These were served with garlic bread and French bread. Oh, the bread was done really well. Besides that, they also offered something extra for cheese lovers. They served various types of cheese along with fresh fruit like grapes and jam. This was definitely a highlight. It paired perfectly with red wine.

And finally, for dessert, there was raspberry cheesecake.

In conclusion, this Thai Airways business class experience on TG665 was definitely a comfortable journey. The food was excellent and more than sufficient, and the service had that warm Thai style.
