More Workwoman's Guide projects! First up is a handkerchief case, which is made from silk. The pockets are filled with perfume (or potpouri if you will) and then quilted. The case is edged with silk ribbon. The other case is a card case, embroidered with beads featuring a floral design on one side and my character's initials on the other. It is lined with yellow silk taffeta and fits my visiting cards.

I promise at some point I will stop all these little filler projects, quit dragging my feet, and work on my 1830s wardrobe. Currently the plan is to start sewing chemises/corset/sleeve plumpers this month/early November and the have the videos start coming out in later November/early December. Then we can work on dresses. So they ARE coming :). I have them scheduled to sew and shoot now so I think there only one or two 1830s projects before we get to actual CLOTHES.
