🌸 Holi Special Mawa Gujiya 🌸
🫓 Dough Ingredients:
1 kg all-purpose flour (maida)
200 grams desi ghee (for moyan)
Water as required (to knead a stiff dough)
👉 Tip: Mix ghee well into the flour until crumbly When pressed in your palm, it should hold its shape — this means moyan is perfect.
🥥 Stuffing Ingredients:
1 kg khoya (mawa)
400–500 grams powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
100 grams chironji
150 grams grated dry coconut
150 grams raisins (kismis)
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
👉 Tip: Roast khoya lightly on low flame and let it cool completely before adding sugar.
🍯 For Frying:
1 kg desi ghee (for deep frying)
👉 Tip: Fry gujiyas on low to medium-low flame for even cooking and perfect crispiness
