On June 22, I took an opportunity to attempt to make another very long duration spotting day at Philadelphia International Airport. What resulted from that day, spent between 9:34 AM and approximately 8:25 PM, came over four hours of video, split into three different videos.

This video covers the third part of the day, shot between 4:50 PM and 8:25 PM, with operations mostly being departures from Runway 9L, with a few 35 arrivals thrown in, and I broke with getting more 9L departures as the departure queue continues to build, so that I could get some 9R arrivals. This was a day that I had expected PHL to be on the 9s all day long, with winds forecasted from the east, which would clearly favor the 9s, and the airport remained on the 9s all day. There is a new spot that I tried for 9R arrivals, which worked out somewhat well, but I didn't like how long I had the camera on each aircraft. There are even more gems in this video, and this includes aircraft I caught arriving in part two.

You can see the weather worsening in the first half of the video, especially when Lufthansa and British Airways departed, as it was raining at a pretty good clip at the time, and this was certainly not forecasted! I've even caught the late evening British Airways arrival, which is switching over to the Dreamliner in July!
