V sodelovanju s podjetjem Svet posode, (znamka Metalac), sem posnela video o pripravi domačih mlincev.
Za mlince potrebujemo:
70 dag moke
4 jajca
2 žlici olja
malo vode

Homemade Mlinci – A Taste of Slovenian Tradition for St. Martin’s Day 🍂🍷
There’s something wonderfully comforting about homemade mlinci — simple, rustic flatbreads that have a special place on every Slovenian table during St. Martin’s Day, when the must (young wine) is blessed and turns into wine.
This humble dish pairs perfectly with roast goose and braised red cabbage, creating a meal that’s both traditional and deeply satisfying. Every family has their own way of making mlinci, but the homemade ones are always the best.
In the old days, our grandmothers used to bake them directly on the wood-burning stove, letting the heat give them that perfect rustic flavor. Today, you can easily make them in a pan or on a stovetop — and the result is just as delicious.
🥣 Ingredients:
700 g (about 5 ½ cups) flour
4 eggs
2 tablespoons oil
a little water
👩🍳 Directions:
Knead the dough from the ingredients above, roll it out thinly, and bake it as shown in the video. Once baked and cooled, break the mlinci into pieces, pour over hot water to soften them slightly, then mix with the juices from the roast.
The result? A soft yet slightly chewy side dish that soaks up all the delicious flavors — the true taste of a Slovenian celebration. 🇸🇮✨
