Title: A Spiritual Journey with Ai Pasi: Sonoma to Stockton
We were so happy to welcome Ai Pasi all the way from Vermont for a two-day spiritual retreat. On February 1st, we traveled 70 miles to the Wat Dhammararam Cambodian Buddhist Temple in Stockton. It was a joy to revisit the 90+ jewel-encrusted statues depicting the life of the Buddha.
We felt incredibly fortunate to attend the morning Puja and a beautiful buffet lunch hosted by the families of two elders (aged 90 and 95). We even had the chance to sing to them! We ended the day with a lovely dinner at Pasang Kami’s home.
On February 2nd, our group visited the Gyuto Monastery in Richmond for Puja, followed by a delicious lunch at Anu’s house. A truly blessed trip!
