SOn Saturday, 13th December, Ang Doka and Phinjock went to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center and spent the night there.
On Sunday, 14th December 2025 (the 25th day of the 10th Lunar Month), at 12:15 PM, our second grandson, Zane Sonam Sherpa, was born at Vallejo Kaiser Hospital, weighing 7 lb 14 oz. With Ai Anchi, we joyfully celebrated the evening, sipping the finest wine from Sonoma.
Uru Furba came from Carson city on 15th December. We warmly welcomed Zane Sonam Sherpa home on Tuesday evening, 16th December, with great excitement from Yasmine, Palmu, and Kinjum.
On 20th December morning, surrounded by close family, we held a Sang Serkim Buddhist puja and naming ceremony.
Zane signifies grace and blessing, and Sonam means merit and good fortune. May his life be filled with health, wisdom, and happiness. 🙏
