'Good Theme' with Evelyn Mugarura

Описание: 'Good Theme' is a poetic love song to Jesus that hails from the 45th Psalm of the Holy Bible. May times songs are born out of my reading and meditation on the scriptures.

The Psalmist (representing the Church) begins by taking about a good theme that (Her) heart was gushing or overflowing with, and (She) began to recit a great composition made towards Her King; her Groom. After the recital, (Her) mouth became a pen of a ready or skilled writer.

What Her heart dictated, Her mouth obeyed. Worship starts in the heart and is expressed by the mouth. Worship is really an expression of our affection to God. It is love business.

In my study, I realized that love requires creativity. There's deep meditation here, besides poetry, singing, or declaration.

I recall during our courtship 30yrs ago, I learned to do things I never imagined I could ever do, because I needed to remain interesting to her, but also unpredictable and seemingly innexhaustble.

When Jesus said we shall love the Lord our God with all our minds (Mark 12:30), I believe He meant loving Him creatively with our imaginations, with an intention of bringing smiles on His face.

May your heart become an anointed pen inscribing worship on the heart of God indelibly.

May you embrace the grace of creativity and initiative, so you will cease to offer the common, and begin giving God new things for His glory and pleasure.

Blessed to have our daughter Evelyn Mugarura lead this song. We normally call her 'Evelyn Worshipper.' May God's grace on her abound.
