Описание: One Sunday, I was facing the frustrations of ministry and felt like praise was too expensive to afford. I felt I had put in all I could, lived a holy life, withheld nothing that was beneficial to the saints I was entrusted, and yet the fruit i was seeing was much less than I expected.

I was early in church, sound wasn't right, ministers were late, and those to lead intercession were not present yet! I inevitably had to fill in the gaps and kind of got tired before the work (service) started.

Have you ever felt like quitting on Monday morning? I felt like hanging my harp of praise, not because I felt God didn't deserve it, but because I felt beaten and wondered how I could praise Him. I don't recall well, but I must have shed a few tears.

Like in Samson's riddle (Judges 14:14), out of the eater came forth food, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. That situation could have eaten me up like a lion, and it was surely so strong, but God turned it into sweetness! How exactly?

God is so dramatic! In a moment, I heard a melody bubbling within, saying,' It is affordable.' As I yielded to the Holy Spirit and sang it out, in a few moments, it became a song, surprising me, and those around me, particularly my wife; Pastor Mabel.

God reminded me that He supplies me with breath daily, and it never comes with an invoice. I then noted that whenever we are out of cash, we still live using credit. Sometimes, we are out of 'cash,' and can not praise God out of convenience, but even then, we can 'borrow' energy, emotion and all else to praise Him, for He is worthy.

May praising God never be too expensive to afford. May clapping, dancing, shouting, and worship never be unaffordable. When you are out of cash, borrow, but praise.

May Adonai be praised forever; our breath supplier.
