Cabbage and Bacon With Soybean Sauce 醬香包心菜
Ingredients:
1 pound cabbage
3 pieces bacon, about 4 oz
2 spring onions, minced white part, cut green part into 1 inch
segments, keep them separate
2 oz ginger, minced
3 cloves garlic, sliced
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1 tbsp soybean paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp white rice wine
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Process:
1, cut the cabbage into 1 1/2 inch squares
2, cut the bacon into 1 inch long pieces
3, make the sauce with soy bean paste, soy sauce, rice wine,
sugar and white pepper, mix well
4, put on medium heat, put 1 tbsp oil in the wok, add bacon
and stir fry for 2 minutes, or until the color turns golden,
then remove it
5, put on high heat, use same wok and bacon oil, no need to
add extra oil, put the minced spring onions and ginger in
the wok, stir fry until fragrant, then add cabbage and stir
fry for 3 minutes or until tender, add garlic, green onion
segments and red pepper, stir fry for a minute, then return
the bacon to the wok, add the sauce, and stir fry for a few
seconds, mix all the ingredients evenly, then the dish is
ready to serve
