A special dedication on the holy occasion of Karthika Purnima - a festival of lights celebrated all across Southern India and especially in the holy town of Arunachala or Thiruvannamalai with the lighting of a mammoth lamp on the holy mountain.
The song is an excerpt from Ramana Maharishi's "Akshara mani malai", a collection of devotional mystical verses with the refrain line "Arunachala Siva", referring to the Lord who manifested as the sacred mountain Arunachala (Thiruvannamalai) in Southern India.
