We selected Austria as our destination as it was my first and her 2nd Skiing.
Before this I did indoor skiing in the Netherlands and she did a few times France and in the Netherlands as well.
We selected Scheffau as its Ski area is good for beginners like us with Ski schools, etc.

In this video line up we are presenting videos in Parts and we talk about our experience of course in our very own poetic style narration.
So the part 1 talks about the village Scheffau and we walked around, we are sharing the experience of this cozy little village.

We stayed at Haus (House) Bergfrienden
In winter holidays lot of people turn their houses into Hotels and let the rooms to stay. SO we technically we actually stayed in a house as the name suggests. The owner was very nice and breakfast was really good.

There are free bus rides from the village to the ski area and back.
They aren't available at night.
Walking is not that far either just a few kms around 3 to 4. With snow all around and the fresh alpine air it really amazing.

Food:
Food is good a few restaurants and cafes in the Village If you have your own car/vehicle you can try different places in the nearby village.

There are also a few sports shops. If you need to make any last minute purchases.
