During my visit to Old Poilwa Village in Peren District, Nagaland, I discovered a fascinating traditional belief known as the Luck Stone.
In the old days, villagers would throw a small stone onto the top of a large rock. If the stone stayed on top, it was believed to be a sign of good luck and positive fortune.
In this reel, I tried the same tradition myself to see if the stone would stay on top! 👀
Simple traditions like this show how deeply culture and beliefs are connected with nature in Naga villages.
