Walt Disney is taking us back to the Pride Lands. The first trailer for Mufasa: The Lion King, dropped on Monday and not only tugged on the strings of nostalgia but left many of us filled with excitement after the announcement of the South African stars involved in the global project which include Thuso Mbedu and Katlego Lediga. The Legendary Dr John Kani is returning in his role as Rakifi the sharmic mandril. Dr Kani first voiced the character in the 2019 remake of The Lion King. He speaks to Aldrin Sampear.
