Brush-Free Acrylic Floral Painting

Описание: Today we are going to paint a expressive abstract floral with NO BRUSHES! Instead, we will be using an assortment of non-traditional tool to help us move out of our comfort zone and play a bit more!Day 15 of the 28 Days of Play is all about letting go of our go-to tools and inviting something new in.

Today’s prompt was simple and playful: NO BRUSHES.
Any time I remove a familiar tool from my process, something shifts in my creative spirit.
My marks loosen.
My expectations soften.
And curiosity gets to lead again.

For this piece, I explored painting without brushes, using intuitive, hands-on more non-traditional tools to create expressive marks and layered florals. Working this way invites freedom, surprise, and a deeper connection to the process itself.

Today I used a watercolor sketchbook, a pen, liquid watercolor, acrylic paints, glazing medium, transparent white and heavy get medium. I also used a variety of non-traditional tools: Catalyst spatulas, silicone brushes and palette knives
