Day 14 of the 28 Days of Play lands right on Valentine’s Day—and today’s prompt felt perfectly aligned.

The invitation was to create a vase that tells a story, and I used this opportunity to reflect on love—specifically, the love I share with my husband and best friend (yes, we met as kids… I know 😄).

For this piece, I created a story-filled collage vase using the word 'love' repeated playfully added loose red watercolor florals and finished with simple gel marker details to bring everything together.

This process wasn’t about perfection—it was about letting meaning, memory, and play guide the painting.
