GSD Yulia vom Haus Kind, HGH

Описание: In 2019 I helped facilitate the purchase of GSD Yulia vom Haus Kind by SentinelHarts German Shepherds. Yulia was bred in Germany by a well-known shepherd, breeder of German Shepherd Dogs and very successful competitor in herding competitions, Herbert Kind. I trained Yulia in herding and now titled her with the HGH herding title. Her herding ability is darn near perfect. Hopefully, her future puppies will become herding dogs who will be just as good.

Four dogs competed on this sunny spring day at White Clover Sheep Farm. Yulia’s run was the last run of the day. The very warm weather made her run harder than usual. Nevertheless, we received 90 points (out of 100) and received the highest grade of “Vorzüglich” (Excellent). Yulia finished second in this competition.

Our judge was the SV Herding Judge Kerstin Smietana, the first and thus far only female herding judge of the SV. She graciously took on this assignment on very short notice when our original judge Herbert Kind had a stroke less than two weeks prior to this trial. (Herbert will make a full recovery from his stroke).

I have been competing in SV herding competitions for more than 30 years and this was the first time I was being judged by a person younger than me. That day had to come, eh?
