INKS 004 - Rock Solid Alcohol Ink Art Painting

Описание: Day 4 – Go Play Outside

Today’s painting is called “Rock Solid,” inspired by a stack of stones and the simple joy of being outdoors. These deep pink and berry tones remind me of a warm summer day spent building Inukshuks with my kids—hands in the dirt, laughter in the air, just being together in nature.

This piece is also connected to a school project I’m bringing next month, where we’ll be drawing our own inukshuks with the kids. It’s all about balance, creativity, and exploring the idea of leaving a meaningful mark, even in the simplest of forms.

The quote for today is more like a life reminder: “Go play outside. Today. Tomorrow. All the time.”

Let this be your permission slip to step away from the to-do list and into something playful—even if just for a few minutes.

While I love the grounded feel of today’s painting, I’m also feeling that the tones came out a bit darker than I imagined. So tomorrow, I’m going to experiment with a brighter color palette to make the rocks pop more. That’s the joy of daily creation—it evolves with you.
