We would now like to briefly introduce a selection of these tools: The OPTICHECK family is a set of tools designed to facilitate your commissioning and especially the verification of field devices.
The OPTICHECK Master was developed for the highest possible verification depth of field devices in installed condition. The OPTICHECK Master is connected directly to the field device and allows not only detailed verification but also, for example, partial test checks for safety-related applications in accordance with IEC 61508.

An OPTICECK DTM is available for simpler verification and monitoring tasks. The OPTICHECK DTM can be started like any other DTM in any FDT frame application, thus enabling convenient use directly from the control room.

With the OPTICKECK Mobile, all device parameters and device tests can be easily accessed via Bluetooth. Since this works wirelessly up to a distance of 20 meters, even devices that are difficult to access can be reached easily.

In addition, there is also the option of using the OPTICHECK Remote to access measured values in a cloud, which are transmitted from the measuring device via mobile radio. This makes sense especially for remote measuring points, such as in water distribution networks.

With KROHNE's Product Information Center, or PICK for short, all device-relevant data such as manuals, device certificates, calibration certificates and approvals are made available on a serial number basis.
To obtain the data, either the serial number of the device is entered, or the device is simply scanned with any mobile device using Auto ID. Instructional videos, also available on the web or PICK, show you in great detail how to install, electrically connect and commission the field devices.
For example, if you have a problem with a field device in the plant, all you need to do is scan the device with a smartphone and you have direct access to video footage that shows you exactly how to perform device verification, for example.
