IMPORTANT : I used isopropyl to clean the splines thoroughly before applying the glue. Here I show with the minimum of editing how we have had a go at fixing the driveshafts on this locomotive for the second time in 3 years, yet the loco has hardly been run after replacing the shafts with new factory ones. .The glue Dapol use must deteriate over a short time.
