"We can have nice things": Earle Ford, FL-13 House candidate, on wealth and the middle class

Описание: Sheeva talked to Earle Ford, a former IRS lawyer specializing in wealthy assets who left his job in September 2025 to run for Congress in Florida's 13th district. He says that his time poring over the assets of the wealthiest 1% gave him a renewed perspective on tax policy and the middle class. He is also a fervent supporter of the federal workforce and a US Army veteran.

Earle's provided bio: Like a lot of civil servants, my father was in the military and I was born overseas. Upon coming back, settled down in Cheyenne, WY. Raised out there and graduated from the University of Wyoming - Criminal Justice. After graduating, I oddly decided to enlist in the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman. After spending 3 years in the military, I attended law school in Central FL. After passing the bar, worked as a prosecutor out there. We moved to Tampa, FL shortly thereafter. I joined the IRS in 2021 and entered into the Estate and Gift Tax Program (targeting the top 10 percent of 1 percent). I recently resigned to run for office. Just filed in FL-Congressional District 13.
