1995 - 2000 GM OBS Truck Rear Shock Absorber Replacement (Cadillac, Chevy & GMC w/Bilstein Shocks)

Описание: In this video we will be going thru how to replace the rear shock absorbers on old body style (OBS) GMT400 type C/K trucks. But we will also be focusing on the regular production option (RPO) FG5 / 8X7 / Z71 / Y91 versions of shock absorbers, which would be for SUV vehicles factory equipped with 46mm Bilstein premium gas charged monotube shock absorbers in the rear.

The truck illustrated is a 1999 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban LT, but the shock removal and replacement procedure will be the same for any 1992 thru 2000 OBS truck or SUV. However the replacement parts ordering information below only applies to those vehicles with RPO FG5, as well as RPO 8X7, RPO Z71 and RPO Y91, for premium gas charged monotube 46mm Bilstein shock absorbers. So Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC for Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon across C1500, K1500, C2500, and K2500 ratings. Fitment for model year 2000 is limited to Cadillac Escalade, and Chevrolet Tahoe Limited/Z71.
