Can you simulate a proper stealth detection system with the tools available in Game Builder Garage? I think you can at least get pretty darn close. Normally, you have a detection cone and a ray or a set of rays thrown out at the player. If they connect with no obstacles in the way, you're detected! We can simulate a line renderer sort of by using a fast moving object with some data collection. In this case, we're collecting what kind of object(if any) is in the path. Maybe some other applications can include distance checking, etc.
