Thank you to my Korean friend Seyeon who was living in Japan at the time and I made her go watch near Tokyo and film this for me!
This is the playoff for Olympic Team spot since Otoguro was unable to secure a medal at the 2019 World Championships. If he did, he would have secured the spot. This is also the 4th time they wrestled and Takuto gets the victory securing his Olympic Team spot for the 2020 Olympics in his home country of Tokyo Japan.
Olympic Silver Medalist was allowed to wrestle off at 57kg again and won. I was told from a close source in Japan that Rei did not want to go down again and wanted the 65kg spot.
