Gary's Record Collection - "Led Zeppelin II" companion album (2014)

Описание: October 22, 1969: the release of Led Zeppelin II. A classic album that every right-minded record collector not only owns, but knows the content up and down.

Fast forward to 2014, and the band started releasing Super Deluxe Box Sets for every album, starting with the first three. While the bonus content on Led Zeppelin I was "just" an unreleased radio concert from France, the Led Zeppelin II companion album featured some rough mixes, some partially-constructed songs, and even an outtake that had not even been bootlegged.

Paired with my multi-track breakdown of "Whole Lotta Love", the companion album sheds more light onto the recording process, and what was eventually ERASED in favor of the finished album.
