The 2024 Army Human Performance Symposium, held at Holsworthy Barracks in September 2024, brought together members of the ADF and wider Defence network to gain insights into the importance of physical fitness, mental resilience, sleep, nutrition and recovery in enabling our personnel to be combat ready. Presenters were invited to share their experience and practical methods which might be applied to optimise performance and allow us to 'prepare for and win the fight' and bring theory into practice.
In this video, Keynote Speaker, Ms Sarah Watson served in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps. She shared how delving into sport and cycling was “life-changing” and significantly improved her mental health and overall wellbeing.
