For the most part, Beast fleyes (done properly) can take a very long time to tie - due mainly to the multiple tie-in points of bucktail along the monofilament extension. Normally in a full size Beast and when tied sparsely, this extension is what helps exaggerate shorter bucktail fibres and create a larger baitfish profile. Fortunately for us, Andre van Wyk of Bucktail Flies has concocted a method to shorten the tying time of mono-extension Hollow Fleyes by using only one tie-in point.
