As winter settles in and the leaves have fallen, I found myself reflecting on what looks finished...and waht might still be quietly fulfilling its purpose.
In this watercolor painting process, I revisit a cluster of maple leaves from fall and follow it through the changing seasons--from summer growth to winter stillness.
This isn't a tutorial. It's a quiet art reflection on purpose, rest, and the beauty found in what appears worn out.
Filmed in my backyard near Pittsburgh.
