Hi everyone and welcome back to the channel.
As you know we live off grid and don’t have mains water or our own borehole.
Water is delivered by truck 7500l at a time…
We have 2 holding tanks, one inside the house which is filled up by the truck. The 2nd is at the top of the hill on the property so that it provides a gravity fed system back down to the house.
We can also collect rain water into the same deposit that the truck fills up.
In this video I run through how it all works whilst at the same time doing some well needed maintenance and a deep clean of both the water tanks.
It involves getting inside both tanks, cleaning, assessing what needs repairing, overhauling the pump systems, and finally fixing and patching what’s broken in the concrete tanks.
I think it is quite an interesting setup and worth a share.
