Phew it’s a hot one and poor Monty is feeling the heat in the back of the Black Beast, but we have the windows open and he is catching the breeze on our journey.
We are in the Cambrian mountains in Mid Wales, on the northern part of Ceredigion, we are on a single track road and thankfully not too much traffic as the drop on our left hand side is quite steep, Ness is leaning over towards me and I’m sure she is trying to get on my lap, she is not keen on steep drops especially on narrow roads with no Armco for safety, this road takes us to a large reservoir which you will see in the next video.
This area is also close to the source of the River Severn which starts its journey at Plynlimon (pumlumon), the highest point in Mid Wales.
