A rainy afternoon walking tour in Seminyak, Bali, starting from the scooter parking area and heading straight to Seminyak Beach, also known as Double Six Beach — one of the most popular sunset spots among Aussie travellers. The day begins calm, with tourists relaxing on bean bags and enjoying drinks by the beach, but then the weather quickly changes. As the rain starts to pour, umbrellas pop open, tourists rush to find shelter, and café staff hurry to protect their furniture from getting wet.
Despite the sudden rain, the atmosphere around Double Six Beach remains uniquely beautiful — the sound of raindrops mixing with the ocean waves creates a calm yet dramatic vibe that only Bali can offer. We continue walking along Double Six Street, which runs behind the beachside cafés and restaurants. This narrow lane is mostly used by scooters, supply vehicles, and rubbish trucks, but it offers an authentic glimpse of daily life behind Seminyak’s lively beachfront.
